Chaz, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

Growing up in Macon, Georgia, as a kid, I listened to my dad play old school music every night through the midnight hour which peaked my interest in music. Being told that I had family that were famous in the music industry, but was never given the full story, made it a mystery setting me on a journey to discover where my roots originated.
Chaz, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
At the age of 15, I grew up listening to the greats of my hometown, such as Otis Redding, Little Richard and James Brown. These were my musical influences bringing me to my next journey of today as the Artist known as Chaz Md on my own record label called 1Chaz Music, L.L.C. with two hit singles, “Only One For You” and “My Jewel”, written by me and written & produced by triple-platinum producer Dale “RamBro” Ramsey.

What makes me stand apart is being able to deliver soulful music that takes you back in time and puts you in a groove like the legends did in their time with some good ol’ funky soul music. I’m so proud that music is in my blood and I’m able to trademark my brand Chaz Md. I hope all my fans/followers will support the brand and experience the journey.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Being able to have a multiple platforms as an independent artist to reach my fans/followers and engage with them on a more personalized level with the idea of anything is possible and to never give up on your dreams. If you want it, just go for it.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
To bring soulful music back to this day and time and keep good music alive.
